For a fashion blog, I think you did a great job of color. A plainer, white background will highlight the designs and styles of the fashions you're trying to showcase.
I agree with Mason. I think the white background is simple and doesn't mess with the color schemes and designs of your outfits. But it isn't plain- I like the green/purple/grey fonts and accents because I think they provide flavor where the background didn't. And side note: I shop at Claire's for my hair accessories, so I totally know how you feel!
I'm going to add onto what Mason and Janet mentioned. I think your color schemes may direct viewers to focus on the most important aspect of your blog: your content. Both the white background and other colors on your blog don't distract from your content.
