I really really like what you've done with the news image as part of the layout. The site is easy to use and looks really good!
I really like the use of pictures. It really helps draw the focus in, and really makes the pages pop out. Maybe make your name a bit bigger on the front page, so it doesn't get drowned out by the banner.
